Working with the company owner of Mani-Stone I updated their logo and business card. The client was clear on wanting to update to a current look, resulting in me researching current similar brands and future predictions for design.
Mani stones are from Nepal and are stones with symbols carved into them. The client didn’t want visuals inspired by them seeing it as too ‘hippy’ for her clothing brand. However, I saw the chance to edit the typeset logo letters slightly to all have a few curves on them to mimic the curves in the stone carvings. The client appreciated the small nod without it being so blunt and head on.
I helped her with marketing as well so she might hit a younger audience with promoting the fact all her clothing is sustainably made and sourced.
